Gunmen kidnap wife of ace comedian in Rivers

Church announces N500,000 rewards over missing banker By Evelyn Usman & Jimitota Onoyume PORT HARCOURT—WIFE of popular comedian in Rivers state, Mrs Chime Mike Ogbolosingha, has been kidnapped in Obio Akpor local government area of the state. The husband, Mr Mike Ogbolosingha told Vanguard that the gunmen stormed their Elenprawon residence on Sunday and abducted her. While pleading that her wife  be released, he said the kidnappers had not established contact with any member of the family, adding that the Police have been alerted on the development. Ogbolosingha, who was a former Chairman of Yenagoa Local Government Area in Bayelsa State said: “I was returning to Port Harcourt from Bayelsa , when I got a call that my wife had been kidnapped. They broke into my house, took away every valuable and still went away with my wife. “I am begging for the release of my wife. The kidnappers have not called me or any member of the family since the incident on Sunday. They should please release my wife, I am begging those holding her”, Ogbolosingha pleaded. Meanwhile, Tension, has heightened over the whereabouts of Mrs Bukola Olowookere, the banker who was declared missing last week. Olowookere was last seen Thursday last week in the company of her colleagues identified as; Henry Ejimofor , Bayo Ogunrinyo, in a car driven by a senior colleague identified as Itar Muktar. She was reportedly dropped off at canoe bus-stop, in Oke-Afa area of Lagos, at about 8.30pm, from where she was expected to board a bus to her Okota home. Apprehension however set in after her husband raised the alarm when she did not return home midnight and subsequently reported the case at the Ejibo Police division. brightnlere gathered that when her telephone number was dialled, someone picked but did not speak. So far, those that were last seen with the 33 year-old Ondo state- born missing woman have been interrogated by detectives at the State Anti Robbery Squad,SARS, Ikeja, where the matter was transferred to. The church where she worshiped, the Redeemed Church of God, Place of Mercy Parish, Area 26, zone three of Lagos Province 61 has announced a N500,000 rewards for anyone with useful information that could lead to the whereabouts of  Mrs. Bukola Olowookere.
